Walk for Life and the Famously Hot Pink Half Marathon + 5K are Prisma Health Midlands Foundation signature fundraising events benefiting Prisma Health Breast Center in Columbia, S.C. For more than three decades, thousands of people have helped raise more than $11 million to fund the latest in digital mammography technology and enhance programs and services for breast cancer patients and their families. Proceeds from the 2023 event will help fund renovations to Prisma Health Breast Center at Baptist Parkridge. The renovations are pivotal in ensuring that the patient experience while at the Breast Center matches the state-of-the-art treatment that is being provided.

You can register to walk or run the 5K in person on Oct. 14. This year, the Famously Hot Pink Half Marathon will also be back in person! The 5K walk and run as well as the half marathon routes will all end in Segra Park’s ballpark again this year. If you have any questions regarding a virtual walk option please contact Dargan.Davis@prismahealth.org.

New this year: There’s something for kids of all ages! Register your child for the 800-meter Aflac Fun Run race. Participants will cross the finish line at home plate inside Segra Park. To learn more about this race, visit strictly running’s website.

All registrations include an event T-shirt. Registered breast cancer survivors will be given a survivor’s scarf. Wear it any way you wish! Take a photo, post it on your social channels and include #Pink4Prisma.
