If I registered for the walk, 5K race, or half marathon and would like an event T-shirt, how will I get it?
T-shirts will be available at packet pick up. Pick up will be the week before the race at Strictly Running 2515 Devine St., Columbia, S.C for all walkers, and runners. Tuesday, Oct. 10- Friday, Oct. 13 (11:00 a.m. - 5:45 p.m).
Is there a guarantee I’ll get the shirt size I want? What if I need a different size from what I registered for?
Events shirts are true to size. Sizes of the event shirt are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Shirt sizes are not guaranteed.
If I register and then decide I can’t participate, could I get a refund?
Registration fees are a donation to Prisma Health Breast Center, so no refunds or discounts will be issued. We are grateful for your support!
Is a paper registration option available?
Registration is online only.
I have children that would like to participate? Do they need to register?
Children are welcome to participate in the Walk for Life or 5K. There is no discount for age. If your child wants to run in the 800-meter Aflac Fun Run, please register Fun Run participants on Strictly Running’s website.
Will there be a 10K option in 2023?
A 10K race will not be available in 2023. Please register for the 5K or the half marathon.
What are the start times on Oct. 14 at Segra Park?
Half Marathon: 7:15 a.m.
Fun Run: 7:30 a.m.
5K: 7:55 a.m.
Walk: 8:00 a.m.

I want to form a team with both walkers and runners. Is that allowed?
Teams should be comprised of only walkers. Runners for the 5K or half marathon should register as individuals at StrictlyRunning.com. However, there is an option when runners register on StrictlyRunning.com to select that they would like their personal fundraising total added to an existing team’s fundraising total. The team captain will be responsible for adding that total on WalkforLifeColumbia.org. Click here for details on how to do this.

HOW TO ENTER OFFLINE DONATIONS AND RACE REGISTRATIONS (CASH/CHECK)
Select “Progress” tab
Select “Team” or “Personal” from the pink box on the right-hand side of the page.
Select “Enter New Gift”
Enter in gift information (donor name, amount, cash/check)
Select “Add” or “Save and Add Another”
Who will receive a finisher’s medal?
Only Half Marathon runners will receive a medal at the finish line!
How do I add an offline donation?
Select "My Team" or "Me" from the tabs listed above your fundraising progress meter
If you select "Me," click "Add" on the right side of the page next to "Personal Donations." If you select "My Team," click "Add" on the right side of the page next to "Team Donations."
Log in-Click on your "Participant Center" in the top right corner. Be sure to select the option "Record this gift on behalf of my entire team."
Enter in gift information: donor name, amount, cash/check
Select "Add" or "Save and Add Another"
Will registration fees change?
Registration fees are the following. Prices for the 5K and the Fun Run will increase on September 16, 2023.
Kids Fun Run: $15
5K walk: $45
5K race: $45
Half marathon: $70 until 8/1, $80 until 9/1, $90 until 10/1, $100 until 10/13
Is my dog (or other pet) allowed to walk or run with me?
No pets are allowed at Segra Park.
