For 32 years, walkers have been at the heart of the event! Did you know? Walk for Life began in 1991 with just 200 walkers. Over the years, thousands of walkers have participated.
If you register to walk in person at Segra Park on Oct. 22, your start time is 8:35 a.m. in front of Segra Park. You will finish in Ellington Park behind Segra Park. Do you like the idea of registering to walk but doing it on your own time, in your own community in Oct.? Then the virtual walk registration option is for you!
Registration for walkers will include an event T-shirt.
Once you’re registered, if you selected the mailing option your T-shirt it will be mailed to you to the address you provided when you registered online. If you selected to pick up your shirt in person, make sure that you head to Strictly Running’s storefront to pick up your shirt, between 12 and 5:45 p.m. Oct. 19-21. Strictly Running’s address is 2515 Devine St., Columbia S.C.
New this year!
Registered walkers will receive a finisher’s medal. If you registered for the in-person walk, you will receive your medal in the finisher’s area of Ellington Park (behind Segra Park). If you registered for the virtual walk, your finisher’s medal will be mailed to you, along with your shirt.
