Thank you for supporting our steps against breast cancer. All proceeds from the Walk for Life and Famously Hot Pink Half Marathon, 5K & 10K will benefit Prisma Health Breast Center in the Midlands. Your contribution is greatly appreciated.


My daughter and I are walking in memory of family members who have gained their wings and in honor of warriors who have fought their battle with breast cancer and won, including my mother-in-law, Gayle Hunt McCarty, and my amazing friend, April Woodward Sampson. But we are specifically walking in solidarity with my sister-friend, Tracy Ross Ervin, who is in Round 2 of her battle with this insidious disease after a nine year reprieve. 

Those who battle breast cancer and the loving circles that support them are amazing. But we need more research, resources, and ready access to care for all to keep the pink tide moving forward.
